Ardennes
The Ardennes is a region of rough terrain, hills, ridges and extensive forests. It is located primarily in Luxembourg and Belgium, but it also stretches through France and Germany. Most of it is located in southeastern Wallonia. The Ardennes have contributed to the charcoal industry in the 18th and 19th century for Wallonia, when it was the 2nd greatest industrial region in the world, after England. Cities and provinces near the Ardennes are Namur and Liège, amongst other regions.
At the Ardennes, visitors can visit the many natural reserves, go for a hiking or yoga retreat, visit caves, try cycling trips/mountainbike, golf, ‘’nature-sports’’ activities, such as kayak or paddle boats, and more.
The Ardennes is an extraordinary region of extensive forests, hills and rough terrain. The location allows for beautiful pictures in the Ardennes, great tours and plenty of recreational activities in the neighboring cities. A trip to the Ardennes would definitely be a unique experience for you and your colleagues. Are you interested in an incentive trip, after reading about this destination?
