Noordwijk

Noordwijk has a population of about 42,859 residents, which is close to the average for cities in the Netherlands. The city is known for its beaches, bulb flower fields and the headquarters for the European Space Research and Technology Center (ESTEC)

Apart from the beaches, bulb flower fields, and ESTEC, the city hosts about 251 international congresses per year and it is considered to be the No.2 congress destination in the Netherlands. Noordwijk has a lighthouse (which is a national landmark), a KNR rescue station and a reformed church.
